Echo Apartments
SOUTH YARRA
Otway stepped in to take over a distressed development project of 50 residential apartments "Echo" at 33 Simmons Street, South Yarra.
The previous developer had obtained the planning approvals and presales that no longer qualified for bank finance. Otway restructured and subsequently relaunched the project, contracted with Hutchison Australia to build and CBA for construction finance.
Construction is due to commence in February 2015 and completed in May 2016.
